As legal and finan­cial expert, Alexan­der brings in more than 10 years work­ing expe­ri­ence in top-tier law and Ven­ture Cap­i­tal firms. He was respon­si­ble for struc­tur­ing and exe­cu­tion of invest­ment trans­ac­tions, due dili­gences, nego­ti­a­tion of par­tic­i­pa­tion agree­ments and mon­i­tor­ing invest­ments. Andrew Tzial­li

Andrew is a part­ner spe­cial­is­ing in ven­ture cap­i­tal and cor­po­rate tech­nol­o­gy mat­ters and he advis­es on both Eng­lish and Irish law. He is head of the firm’s Cryp­tocur­ren­cy and Blockchain Group and heads up the Philip Lee Lon­don office which opened in 2018. Andrew advis­es a broad range of clients from angel investors, ven­ture cap­i­tal funds and lead­ing indi­vid­u­als involved in technology/media, to inter­na­tion­al cor­po­ra­tions, SMEs and star­tups. Andrew pri­mar­i­ly advis­es on cor­po­rate trans­ac­tions, includ­ing pri­vate equi­ty and ven­ture cap­i­tal invest­ments, merg­ers and acqui­si­tions, cor­po­rate re-struc­tur­ing and cor­po­rate finance. Mahesh Har­ilela

Mahesh is from the Har­ilela fam­i­ly which is one of the most promi­nent fam­i­lies in Hong Kong. His fam­i­ly owns 19 hotels prop­er­ties around the world includ­ing a few in Hong Kong though the Har­ilela Group. Mahesh has an entre­pre­neur­ial spir­it.
He has been involved in cre­at­ing devel­op­ing com­pa­nies in Trad­ing, Brand­De­vel­op­ment, Renew­able Ener­gy Infra­struc­ture, Agri­cul­ture, and Edu­ca­tion. He cur­rent­ly sits as Chair­man on the Board­of Direc­tors & is CEO of M. Har­ilela Glob­al Invest­ments Ltd., and Asia CBD Pte. Ltd., Board of Direc­tor of Dis­rup­tive Ther­mo­dy­nam­ics Pte Ltd., Com­mer­cial Liai­son for Hon­orary Vice Con­sul for The Repub­lic of Mal­dives in Hong Kong and last­ly, Chair­man for King George V School’s Strate­gic Devel­op­ment Com­mit­tee.
Over the course of the last thir­ty years, Mahesh cre­at­ed, from start-ups for brand­ed watch­es to brand­ed elec­tron­ics, thus ven­tur­ing into sup­ply and chain man­age­ment for Sojitz Cor­po­ra­tion in Japan. Pete Townsend

Start­up advi­sor, con­sul­tant, non-exec­u­tive direc­tor, men­tor, Funds Indus­try vet­er­an (20 years in lead­er­ship roles) and pod­cast co-host of Mon­eyN­ev­er­Sleeps — get­ting inside the minds of entre­pre­neurs and those in the start­up ecosys­tems of Ire­land, the UK, Europe and beyond. Fin­tech founders and lead­ers of finan­cial ser­vices firms part­ner with Pete to devel­op new mar­kets, build go-to-mar­ket strate­gies, and secure fund­ing for their vision. His clients fur­ther ben­e­fit from my abil­i­ty to build syn­er­gies between star­tups and estab­lished play­ers through a glob­al net­work across Europe, the US and Asia-Pacif­ic. Pete’s clients are rep­re­sen­ta­tive of a deep exper­tise in finan­cial ser­vices, includ­ing spe­cial­ties in fin­tech, dig­i­tal assets, blockchain/DLT, ven­ture cap­i­tal and the invest­ment funds indus­try. Pri­or to his life in the wild, Pete was the chief oper­at­ing offi­cer and glob­al head of prod­uct devel­op­ment for a divi­sion of BNP Paribas and direc­tor on the board of its Irish fran­chise for ten years. He began his career in Boston in 1995 at Fideli­ty Invest­ments and then depart­ed for six years of ser­vic­ing hedge funds in Bermu­da before mov­ing to Ire­land in 2006.

Peter Augustin

Peter has been an entre­pre­neur since the age of 20 and has always had a soft spot for tech­nol­o­gy, inno­va­tion and dis­rup­tion. In 1996, Peter found­ed the Aus­tri­an inter­net provider Inode, which was sold to UPC Telek­a­bel (now Magen­ta) for almost €100 mil­lion in 2006. After that, Pete’s inter­ests shift­ed more and more to real estate, espe­cial­ly dur­ing the finan­cial cri­sis of 2008/2009. After 12 years in the real estate indus­try, Peter decid­ed to launch the first retail secu­ri­ty token offer­ing in the Ger­man mar­ket on Black Man­ta’s invest­ment plat­form with his real estate devel­op­ment com­pa­ny Tigris Immo­bilien GmbH. Togeth­er with Black Man­ta Cap­i­tal Part­ners, Pete is already plan­ning the next tok­eniza­tion of an apart­ment build­ing in Berlin, which is expect­ed to go live this fall.
