Alexander Rapatz
As legal and financial expert, Alexander brings in more than 10 years working experience in top-tier law and Venture Capital firms. He was responsible for structuring and execution of investment transactions, due diligences, negotiation of participation agreements and monitoring investments. Furthermore, Alexander is board member of the European Super Angels Club, lecturer at the Business Angel Institute, and he is an independent expert for “Horizon 2020” of the European Commission.
Andrew Tzialli
Andrew is a partner specialising in venture capital and corporate technology matters and he advises on both English and Irish law. He is head of the firm’s Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Group and heads up the Philip Lee London office which opened in 2018. Andrew advises a broad range of clients from angel investors, venture capital funds and leading individuals involved in technology/media, to international corporations, SMEs and startups. Andrew primarily advises on corporate transactions, including private equity and venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, corporate re-structuring and corporate finance. Many of the transactional matters Andrew works on are for clients that are involved in disruptive technologies, including blockchain, gaming and eSports. Brian Elders

Mahesh Harilela
Mahesh is from the Harilela family which is one of the most prominent families in Hong Kong. His family owns 19 hotels properties around the world including a few in Hong Kong though the Harilela Group. Mahesh has an entrepreneurial spirit.
He has been involved in creating developing companies in Trading, BrandDevelopment, Renewable Energy Infrastructure, Agriculture, and Education. He currently sits as Chairman on the Boardof Directors & is CEO of M. Harilela Global Investments Ltd., and Asia CBD Pte. Ltd., Board of Director of Disruptive Thermodynamics Pte Ltd., Commercial Liaison for Honorary Vice Consul for The Republic of Maldives in Hong Kong and lastly, Chairman for King George V School’s Strategic Development Committee.
Over the course of the last thirty years, Mahesh created, from start-ups for branded watches to branded electronics, thus venturing into supply and chain management for Sojitz Corporation in Japan. Over the last five years, he has focused on Sports development, Education, Environmental, and Social, sustainable investments that enabled him to travel around Asia, North America and Europe to understand and develop sustainable business activities.
Pete Townsend
Startup advisor, consultant, non-executive director, mentor, Funds Industry veteran (20 years in leadership roles) and podcast co-host of MoneyNeverSleeps — getting inside the minds of entrepreneurs and those in the startup ecosystems of Ireland, the UK, Europe and beyond. Fintech founders and leaders of financial services firms partner with Pete to develop new markets, build go-to-market strategies, and secure funding for their vision. Pete’s clients are representative of a deep expertise in financial services, including specialties in fintech, digital assets, blockchain/DLT, venture capital and the investment funds industry. Prior to his life in the wild, Pete was the chief operating officer and global head of product development for a division of BNP Paribas and director on the board of its Irish franchise for ten years. He began his career in Boston in 1995 at Fidelity Investments and then departed for six years of servicing hedge funds in Bermuda before moving to Ireland in 2006.
Peter Augustin
Peter has been an entrepreneur since the age of 20 and has always had a soft spot for technology, innovation and disruption. In 1996, Peter founded the Austrian internet provider Inode, which was sold to UPC Telekabel (now Magenta) for almost €100 million in 2006. After that, Pete’s interests shifted more and more to real estate, especially during the financial crisis of 2008/2009. After 12 years in the real estate industry, Peter decided to launch the first retail security token offering in the German market on Black Manta’s investment platform with his real estate development company Tigris Immobilien GmbH. Together with Black Manta Capital Partners, Pete is already planning the next tokenization of an apartment building in Berlin, which is expected to go live this fall.

Mahesh Harilela will start us off with some perspectives from his background in Hong Kong property. Mid-way Andrew Tzialli will take a pause to dive into the legal considerations. After both presentations there will be a panel discussion on the practicalities of “making this happen”.
